There have been rumors that Facebook is moving towards abandoning the teenage market and placing more focus on the 18-49 age group that make up almost all of the consumer trade. This comes hand in hand with the rumor that teenagers are moving away from Facebook to move onto other platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.
Facebook is changing its features such as giving users access to a extra array of streams so that more content can be seen that is based on topic and not who it came from. This comes from the innovative idea to present in more of a magazine style format so that all content can be better organized and displayed.
